Cantatas
The choirs of Southgate Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church combine to preform three yearly cantatas: Easter, Patriotic, and Christmas.
The Easter Cantata is performed at Southgate on Palm Sunday at 4pm and at Calvary on Easter Sunday at 4pm.The patriotic cantata is performed for the anniversary of 9/11 on the Sunday afternoon closest to September 11th. The Christmas Cantata is performed at multiple community events including the boat parade, and "Christmas is Spoken Here" at the Botanical Gardens. They perform at Southgate for our Christmas Eve Service.
