The Church
Southgate Baptist Church is located in the city of Christiansted on the east end of the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It was founded in 1988. We are a church that seeks to proclaim the truth of God's Word accurately, with power and in love. Our Community is our mission field. The Lighthouse, our extension ministry in Christiansted, is a faith-based community service center whose mission is to "Shine the Light of Jesus into Christiansted" through programs of education and compassion.
The Pastor
Southgate's pastor is Pastor Ed Cullen, who along with his wife Debbie, has been ministering in St. Croix for over twelve years. Southgate also has a youth pastor Abraham Kennedy.
